Because it is an emulsified scrub, you do not need to stir before use and it will wash away in the shower or tub with very little residue--just enough to moisturize your skin after exfoliation and leave a light scent of rosemary and peppermint essential oils. Simply scoop a small amount onto wet skin and massage, then rinse just as you would use soap.
